1st Agenda: Contribution Management

The members discussed the best way to manage financial contributions. After deliberation, it was agreed that a joint bank account would be opened temporarily. This decision replaces the previous idea of using a Paybill account, which was not widely accepted by members. The joint account will serve as a secure and practical solution until the organization establishes its official bank account.

2nd Agenda: Drafting the Constitution

The need for a formal constitution to guide the organization’s operations was emphasized. A committee has been selected to take charge of drafting the constitution, which will be presented to the members for review and approval. This step is critical for ensuring transparency and accountability within the organization. The selected executive team responsible for overseeing this process includes

3rd Agenda: Membership Registration Deadline

The deadline for membership registration was discussed and officially set for 20th December 2024. Members were reminded to complete their registration by this date to ensure they remain active participants in the organization’s activities and decision-making processes.

Meeting Schedules

  • Physical Meeting:
    The next in-person meeting will take place on 6th December 2024 at the Bomb Blast Memorial Park in Nairobi City from 10.00 AM. This meeting is open to all members, and everyone is encouraged to attend.

  • Online Meeting Time:
    The time for online meetings was confirmed to remain at 9:30 PM. Members were urged to join by 9:20 PM to ensure the meeting starts on time without delays.


Any Other Business (AOB)

  1. Members were requested to send quality content to the social media manager to be posted on the organization’s website and social media platforms. This includes articles, photos, and updates about the organization’s activities to enhance online engagement.

  2. Members were also encouraged to actively share the organization’s graphic posters and promotional materials on their personal social media pages and WhatsApp groups. This helps increase visibility and awareness of the organization’s work.
